3D scanning and pre-visualisation for Queen of the Night (Raati Ki Rani), an immersive after-dark exhibition by artist Alina Akbar staged at Rochdale's Haji Cash & Carry warehouse. I LiDAR scanned the full venue ahead of the install, then built the pre-visualisation in Cinema 4D to plan out layout, camera angles and how the space would be used across the show.

The process started with a full LiDAR scan of the warehouse, capturing the space on-site ahead of the install. This was exported as an OBJ and used directly within the pre-vis.

Using the scan, I built a pre-visualisation in Cinema 4D - mapping the venue's interior, laying out the space from above, and rendering key angles of the main gallery area to plan lighting and framing ahead of the install.

On the night, the install matched the pre-vis: light boxes, projection, and Alina's pieces - placed within the warehouse itself, alongside a Nissan Micra used as part of the exhibition.
